Research Field Air Quality Modeling and Monitoring

Duties of Job

· research activities related to the development of a model system for air quality at address level and personal route exposure for Qatar based on the Operational Street Pollution Model (OSPM)

· prepare or assist in writing manuscripts for publication in refereed journals and other technical publications

Occasional Duties · have independent or supervisory roles in research

· participate in preparation of proposals to funding agencies and

· supervision of new graduate and/or undergraduate students

Required Education and Experience

·Master degree in Physics, Chemistry or Engineering or a closely related field

· Strong theoretical research implementation

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience · Atmospheric Chemistry & Physics

· Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

· Programming Languages (Fortran, C++, Python etc.)

· Atmospheric dispersion of pollutants

·Measurements of atmospheric pollution and meteorology

Salary/ Pay Basis Commensurate up to 2,500 USD/ Monthly (based on qualifications)

Location Doha, Qatar (2 years) and Roskilde, Denmark (1 year) (relocation is necessary)
