Short-term grant opportunity: The COST Action FP0903 Climate Change and Forest Mitigation and Adaptation in a Polluted Env.

Short-term grant opportunity: The COST Action FP0903 Climate Change and Forest Mitigation and Adaptation in a Polluted Environment has launched a call for Short Term Scientific Missions. COST STSMs are inter-laboratory exchange visits and aim to contribute to the scientific objectives of the Action by allowing scientists to go to an institution or laboratory in another COST country to foster collaboration, to learn a new technique or to take measurements using instruments and/or methods not available in their own institution/laboratory. They are particularly intended for young scientists.

 Applications have to be submitted by March 20th, 2012. Notifications of decisions will be sent by March 30th, 2012. STSMs are minimum one week (5 working days), maximum 3 months, and shall be concluded by December 31st, 2012

 A grant usually covers travel and subsistence. The financial support is a contribution to the costs of a STSM and may not necessarily cover all the costs.
